Welcome to NORLUG!

NORLUG is the Northfield Linux Users Group in Northfield, Minnesota - serving the entire Northfield, Faribault, and Cannon Valley areas. We are a collection of over 55 people [1] dedicated to GNU/Linux (a powerful, free, Unix-like operating system), Free Software Open Source, and other related topics. Our goals are advocacy, education, support and socializing.

Meetings

Formal meetings are held every first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM CST. The formal meetings are held at Northfield United Methodist Church in the "Fellowship Hall". The address is 1401 South Maple Street in Northfield. Other informal meetings and workshops are announced on our Mailing List. We also host informal/social mid-month meetings at local pubs, or our homes. In addition, we hold other regular and semi-regular events and workshops. Meetings and membership are free, and open to the public.

NOTE:
If you are a new or prospective member, or have not attended one of our meetings yet, we suggest you join our mailing list. It's a great way to introduce yourself and get acquainted with the people in NORLUG.
