NORLUG - Northfield Linux Users Group - Northfield, MN

Welcome to NORLUG!

NORLUG is the Northfield Linux Users Group in Northfield, Minnesota - serving the entire Northfield and Cannon Valley areas. NORLUG is a computer club dedicated to GNU/Linux (a powerful, free, Unix-like operating system), Free Software, Open Source, and other related topics. Our goals are advocacy, education, support and socializing.


Formal meetings are held every first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM CST. The formal meetings are held at the Northfield Hospital - Meeting room "A". The address is 801 1st St. West in Northfield. Other informal meetings and workshops are announced on our Mailing List. We also host informal/social mid-month meetings at local pubs, or our homes. In addition, we hold other regular and semi-regular events and workshops. Meetings and membership are free, and open to the public.

If you are a new or prospective member, or have not attended one of our meetings yet, we suggest you join our mailing list. It's a great way to introduce yourself and get acquainted with the people in NORLUG.

Memberships - Joining

Joining NORLUG is free and easy! No membership dues are required. Anyone may join - and you need not be a resident of Northfield, MN.
All you need to do is turn in a completed membership form at one of our regular meetings. They are available either at our meetings, or or you may simply print and complete the form HERE - then turn it into an Officer at the next meeting.
Be sure to join our Mailing List, and attend our meetings regularly!
