Who are we?

We are the Northfield Linux User Group (NORLUG). We are a group of Technology, Linux and FLOSS enthusiasts and advocators from the Northfield, MN area. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where people can come and learn from experienced technologists. While Linux and the Free and Liberated Open Source Software (FLOSS) world is our focus, we openly welcome anyone who has a desire to learn about technology of any sort.

What do we do?

We host the Northfield chapter of Coffee House Coders, which is a weekly social hack night every Monday. We also organize and host Linux and FLOSS focused meetings on the 4th Thursday of every month. How do I join?

Membership is free! All that is required is a passion for technology. To keep up to date with us and learn about upcoming events, we encourage you to subscribe to our mailing list, join our Google+ community and follow us on Twitter! You will find the links to all our social channels in the menu.

Coffee House Coders!

Coffee house coders is a group of technology enthusiasts who get together every week to socialize, eat, drink, and hack on pet projects. We are open to anyone interested in computers, not just developers! Coffee house coders is hosted by NORLUG, however Linux is not required! Feel free to bring whatever computer you have!

Summer Schedule - 2015

NORLUG will be taking a short vacation from hosting technical meetings during the summer months of 2015 (May - August). NORLUG will resume technical meetings in September of 2015. Our weekly Coffee House Coders will continue throughout the summer.
